18 Northgate, Sleaford – Duncan & Toplis

A Grade II listed building. Works included repairs to two pillars, entrance steps and the quoining (decorative masonry blocks found at the corner of a wall). There was also a hand-painted fascia board and signage.

18 Northgate , Sleaford is one of numerous buildings lining Northgate which have rich architecural history. The building reflects various styles, primarily from the Georgian and Victorian eras.


Carre Heritage are proud to have been part of the preservation of the external aesethics of the building, carrying out lime render repairs to the stone facede and carrying out repairs to the stone quoins at ground floor level


Work was also undertaken to the hips of the stone steps and the pilastors either side of the door way.


The shop front to both elevations under went extensive repairs to preserve the facede and  full decoration to both the shop front and the stone pilastors flanking the entrance uplifting the building evoking its timelessness and historical significance.

Installation of Mosaic Art Panels Carre Heritage were thrilled to be involved in the Installation of new Mosaic Art Panels to Gladstone’s Yard in Sleaford working on behalf of Sleaford Town Council and MosArt. They were installed in time for the River Light Festival of Sleaford.
